Our team of highly skilled Mechanical & Electrical engineers are available to our customers 24 hours 7 days a week for support and assistance with Planned maintenance, Breakdowns plus support on projects from the point of conception to final commissioning.
At VSM, we provide tailored Service Level Agreements, and we work with our customers to ensure the correct level of support is provided. This can encompass emergency cover, call-out and development of a Preventative Maintenance Program guaranteeing peace of mind should anything go wrong.
We integrate seamlessly with your existing engineering staff or alternatively can work on our own to help you get the most out of the plant and machinery you have on site, be that through general repairs, upgrades or by delivering specialist training courses to your engineers and operatives.
Specialists in Welding & Fabrication
We are CE certified to EN1090 and specialise in the design and fabrication of food grade stainless steel conveyors, gantries, stairs/handrails, rotary accumulation tables and custom-built items. However, we are also proven experts in pipework and sheet metal fabrication and welding. We can work with our customers and assist at the design stage or design something inhouse with our experienced design team. VSM can tailor a solution that meets the requirements set forward in the scope of works and we always keep the line of communication open with our customers throughout the duration of their project.
At VSM we are coded to 6G Pipe welding. All welding and welders are qualified in accordance with BS EN ISO 3834-5:2021, EN ISO 15614-1 and BS EN 9606-1.
All our fabrication, testing and inspection requirements with our meticulous scheduling are planned and recorded. We have a thorough inspection and testing procedure taken from our Welding Quality Management System (WQMS) to EN 1090 3834-3 from parent material selection, preparation before, during & post welding or fabrication through to finishing. Through the experience of our Welding Coordinator, we always maintain these standards on all our projects from stainless steel pipe installs, purpose-built food grade hygienic conveyors to bespoke mild steel fabrication solutions.
